Architect Trip To Italy With Cesar

November 6, 2018 By Cesar NYC

In October 2018, we at Cesar invited a group of architects and designers to a unique trip to Italy. Here, they discovered our Italian essence as well as our local kitchen manufacturing site and our Cesar headquarters in the Veneto region. Our Cesar production site has been the same ever since Cesar was founded 50 years ago.

During the factory tour, the architects had the opportunity to learn more about our Cesar expertise, while discovering all processes involved when producing Cesar kitchens; from the sourcing of raw materials to the final kitchen product, ready to be shipped all over the world.

Among the different finishes and materials we use for our kitchens, marble is one of our best-sellers. It was a great experience to visit the Cesar marble quarry and to find out more about the marble extraction process.

We also met with our Art Director Garcia Cumini, who shared their inspiration and creative thought process. Their philosophy of Slow Design as well as their diverse cultural backgrounds is what make our Italian kitchen cabinets so unique, aesthetic and functional.

Italy is the country of excellence for design, architecture, food and wine. If you are in Italy you can’t miss any of these factors. That’s why we at Cesar also wanted our guests to experience all these beautiful sides of Italy. Firstly, we invited the group to a wine tasting experience in the beautiful Valdobbiadene area, the land of Prosecco. The view on the vineyards was just breathtaking.

The final part of the Cesar tour was a visit of the ‘one and only’ Venice. As part of it, we visited the La Biennale di Architettura. This unique international architecture exhibition was very inspiring for all architects and designers, who enjoyed visiting the most interesting national pavilions and fair booths.

And what is better than ending the trip with an Aperol Spritz, cheers!
