This modern commercial kitchen project was a collaboration between our Cesar NYC kitchen showroom in Flatiron District, Manhattan and the renowned architects Gensler Architects, who also handled the interior design elements in this stunning interior space. This kitchen was created for the financial institute UBS Bank, and is located on the 13th floor of the UBS Building in Midtown Manhattan. Because of corporate and security reasons, we were not allowed to provide the actual kitchen’s photographs, which is why we are sharing the kitchen cabinet 3D renderings in this corporate kitchen gallery.

Our corporate clients UBS Bank engaged Cesar NYC Kitchens and Gensler Architects to create this space as a corporate pantry for their employees at their busy Midtown New York office. The space, which offers stunning city views, needed to aesthetically embrace NYC’s UBS Bank’s brand while offering the functionality of a modern European kitchen to be used by employees throughout the day. Working hours can sometimes be long, which is why it was so important for the UBS management to ensure that their kitchen provided all the amenities needed for enjoying several coffees a day, warming a meal or even freshly cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. Besides the functional aspects, it was also important to create a beautiful, stunning design that, besides the stunning views of Manhattan, can be enjoyed by all employees on the 13th floor.

To offset extensive use of the space, we used robust materials including gray wood texture laminate, the most durable material provided by our Cesar kitchen showroom. Toe kicks were installed in an aluminum finish, and glass wall cabinets in a black glass finish, the same finish as used for the glass backsplash. A long refrigerator was fully integrated into the kitchen cabinets in this corporate interior space, as was an ice maker so the employees can enjoy any of their drinks cooled and chilled. Two microwave ovens are visible in the space, which were on purpose left exposed, and hence become part of this innovative design.

Our Cesar NYC kitchen design team agreed that this was a very exciting collaboration with Gensler Architects, which allowed our designers to take our extensive kitchen design knowledge and experience with our high-end Italian Cesar kitchen cabinetry and design into a new and thrilling space, exploring the application of the kitchen cabinetry and kitchen functionality.
